Leveraging your Delta Experience: Your Teaching Philosophy and CV

You’ve been developing your skills as an educator and mentor, and now you need to effectively communicate that experience in your job application materials. This workshop is designed to help you articulate your professional development experience when developing your teaching philosophy statement and refining your CV for the academic job search. Through hands-on exercises and constructive peer feedback, you will leave with materials to create a draft of your teaching statement and revise your CV.
Participants should bring a draft of their CV to the workshop; previous drafts of a teaching statement are not necessary, but you are welcome to bring one. If you need help drafting a CV, consider attending a workshop offered through the UW Writing Center.
