Getting The Job: Crafting Your Teaching Philosophy
Wednesday, March 30, 2022 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
Location: Union South (check TITU for exact location)
You’ve been developing your unique pedagogical style through your teaching and mentoring experiences and professional development; now you need to effectively communicate your teaching philosophy in a formal statement for job applications or a teaching portfolio. Whether you are just getting started or you’ve already written a draft that just needs some fine-tuning, the hands-on exercises and constructive peer feedback you’ll receive in this workshop will help you further develop your teaching philosophy statement. Participants who already have a draft teaching philosophy are encouraged to bring it.
